We all are assembled for tea at morning break at 10 o’clock.
I asked to Venk, “why have you took my telephone set?”
Immediately he replied “I am getting more bills with my telephone set and you are getting fewer bills with your phone set. That’s why I replaced with your phone set to my same telephone line”.
"You can use as much as you can. I will get all bills for my telephone set, even though it is connect to your line." I replied to Venk with laugh.

Happy Birth Day to Our Little child - Bunny

Today is Buddha Purnima as per Hindu calender. Today is the birth day of the great king and saint Goutam Buddha. He is known for his teachings on spiritual and peace aspects of life. Many parts of world celebrates his birth day.

The same day, six years back, she filled our life with full of joy by arriving in our life as our daughter and given new dimensions to our life. Still I remember that happiest day of my life. Thanks to God and my wife for her gift. I took her in my lap after about 10min. of her birth and said to her " Em Nanna! (Hay little!)" as usual I used to speak daily, while she was in her mothers womb. Those days she use to move fast in womb and kick. This time she opened her tightly folded eye lids for a second , looked ( I don't know she is able to see or not) at me and given smile like lotus flower and closed for another two days. I astonished and my heat filled with joy and happiness. That happiness still flowing in my/our heats. I never forget this movement of my life. We are celebrating her birth day........ She is on her summer vacation at her Grand Mother's (My in-law's) home.

Jokes - Laughter is the Best Medicine Blogfest

Not Reachable:

A woman wanted to reach her husband on his mobile phone but discovered that she was out of credit; she instructed her son – to use his own phone to pass across an urgent message to daddy who is at site.
After junior had called, he got back to mummy to inform her that it was a lady that picked up daddy’s phone the three times he tried reaching dad on the mobile.
She waited impatiently for her husband to return from site, immediately she sighted him, she gave him a very hot slap, while the man was trying to ask why?
She repeated the slap, people from neighborhood rushed around to know the cause of this.
The man asked junior to tell everybody what the lady said to him when he called,
Junior said “the number u are trying to call is not reachable“.

God is Watching:

The children were lined up in the cafeteria of a Elementary school for lunch.
At the head of the table was a large pile of apples.
The nun made a note, and posted on the apple tray: “Take only ONE. God is watching.”
Moving further along the lunch line,at the other end of the table was a large pile of chocolate chip cookies. A child had written a note: “Take all you want. God is watching the apples.”

Shraddhanjali - In the memory of My Father-in-law

I am to the blog after about 15 days after sudden demise of my father-in-law on 30 April,2011 at 7PM. We are still in shock and unable to digest. The land under us is slid to deep valley.   We are in deep sorrow and depression. He is known for his goodness, helping nature, love, affection, etc. not only for our family but his surrounding people. He is known for his hard work and good health at the age of 65yrs. That is way his is called as "Retired Major" by his friends and neighboring people even though his is belongs to the Education department. He worked as school principal and Retired Mandal Education Officer. He is known for his sincerity and discipline at work. He always stood first in row to take any challenge at home and work and also to help.

We lost a elderly person in our family and I think, the position is never fill in our life. I love him more than my parents. My wife and my Mother-in-law, still in deep depression. It is a challenge for me to bring them to normal life. May God give enough strength to us to fight these movements of our life.

We pay tribute to My Father-in-law who left this world, leaving us alone and pray for peace of his soul.

We will carry his memories in our hearts forever.

Space - The powerful idea ("S" in A2Z blogging Challenge)

Space - I unable to recollect that  - When this word was introduce to me?. But, I remember that, I, many times, use to quarrel with my first standard class mates to leave some space in the first bench in the class room. For that space, I always tried to be early in the class than any body. That time the space for me is the area.

I still remember my third standard experiment - blowing the balloon - to check the characteristics of air that occupies the space. This time my space is also a volume.

Till my fifth standard, I was unable to understand the difference between the space on the bench and space in balloon, where I was introduced with the graphs and 3D space by my Grand Father who is a Maths teacher. Here my space has the dimensions and coordinates. Then I had a little bit intuition about space.

As I am growing, my space for the space also growing. In my seventh standard, the new space was introduced to me by the Radio program on Gravitation and Einstein, where time is added to my space. This time this space is out of my reach. Only I am able to understand that space is not easy thing to understand but it is so critical that I have to dig in it. That is the first time interest in space deepened and till today I am studying about it. This space and time only introduced me to the Einstein.

Up to my12th standard, my mind revolved around the space for analyzing it in mathematical and physical way. I use to collect books on space and Einstein, still I am collecting and reading them to understand.

Suddenly, my life space changed from my space to Electronics space as career, after 12th standard. But I never left my space. I still use to analyze electronics with my space effects. Most of the times I am able to understand and imagine the electronics better with my space.

My thinking, my interests, my affection towards the space are deepening day by day and they are ever brightening.

One surprise thing is that, my space thinking is also propagated to my little child also. She is also asking a lot of questions about space beyond the earth. Some times I have to refer to answer her questions. She is fascinated about outer space and space stations.

That is why, the space is very powerful word - not a word, but it is an idea and a thinking - which influencing my life.

Rangoli ("R" in A2Z blogging challenge)

Rangoli is one of the fork arts of India. It is decorative art. Rangoli is done on the courtyards and floors of living rooms. This art is practicing in India from ancient days. Rangoli is done on the special occasions like festivals, marriages, etc. Rangoli is treated as the sacred welcome for the deities. But in south India, the Rangoli is done every day in front of house. Generally the Rangoli is done by the women.

Rangoli patterns consists of geometric shapes, flowers, leaves, butterflies, birds, etc. Rangoli design are done such that, the patterns are suitable to the occasion.

Rangoli with Diyas (Lamps)

Basically, the Rangoli is done using the fine granular rice power or flour. These materials are mixed with Kumkum or Turmeric, etc. Now a days they are mixing with natural or synthetic color.  Some times the people use flowers, leaves, etc. to have good appearance.

An artistic work with Rangoli

Rangoli patterns are done by first keeping  dots on the ground and then they join the dots to form different designs. The number of dots and pattern of dots are depend on the intended Rangoli pattern. Some times, the people do the Rangoli without using dots also. Rangoli is done by single woman or collective women. Now a days, Rangoli competitions are conducting by some charities on special occations. Some colleges, organizations  also conducting competitions during the occasions like annual day celebration, etc.

Rangoli is a symbol of religious and cultural beliefs. But I found one scientific reason in that - The Rangoli done using the Rice power. The birds will come and eat this rice powder. In this way we are feeding the birds. At the same time, the insects like ants etc. also eat this rice power and they will enter in to the house.
The termaric used in Rangoli acts as anticeptic, and repells some king of insects also. Any way, the Rangoli has only advantages and no disadvantages. But only thing is that we have to practice the Rangoli, which is not doing by the now-a-days girls.

My daughter likes very much to do Rangoli, even though, she is not able to do the design, but she can fill the patterns with colors.
